Text Box: Family Business Therapeutic Consultation  The often complex process of running a family business while attempting to maintain positive relationships is not an easy task. The O.V.V.C.A. staff approach this work from both an organizational psychology and family therapy perspective and use the recreational resources of the SJDS community (sailing, surfing, hiking, canopy tours) to enhance this work.  Contracts for this service are individually tailored and based upon a careful analysis of the family’s needs and interests. The opportunity to get away from the home culture, have fun together and gain perspective on business and family roles and responsibilities serves to open new doors for understanding and collaboration within both the family and the business. This service may involve up to 16 participants; however some of the participants will be housed at a nearby property.
